Freed from all constraints, we created a master plan for the vision of a perfect and future-proof factory. The investments for construction and intralogistics technology were determined on the basis of sound estimates and a very high degree of automation was targeted in order to significantly increase productivity.
This vision was then examined in terms of the possibilities for integration into an existing plant in terms of infrastructure, employees and regional influencing factors. The focus here was, among other things, not to jeopardize the sustainable concept and to make use of usable synergy effects and spatial conditions.
One of the scenarios developed was finally planned in detail with a focus on integration synergy with other product areas, submitted for an investment decision and then put out to tender on the market. The technical and economic tender results from the market led to the investment being approved.
The company now has an ideal, forward-looking expansion plan, with the help of which the very profitable and fast-growing product area can triple its turnover and achieve a 30% increase in productivity. Thanks to the concept, other product areas can be integrated gradually at a later date without any loss of productivity and it is possible to react flexibly to possible changes
at any time.
